Harry Kane 'increasingly confident' of move to Man City
This week has seen an array of Harry Kane news but the latest update seems to be that Kane is relying on the good faith of the Tottenham board to change their mind on allowing a transfer to the Etihad. Harry Kane is said to be feeling 'increasingly confident' about a said move to Manchester City.
It's well known that City have already put a bid in for £100 million which was swiftly rejected by Tottenham. The Sun stated later last week that Man City had agreed a fee of £160 million with Spurs and Kane would earn £400K p/w after Daniel Levy caved. The reports were quickly dismissed by City but weren't completely after Stuart Brennan said his sources only denied the figures and not the fact that Daniel Levy caved in.
Harry Kane is set to miss the start of the Premier League season and step out of the spotlight over his attempt to leave Tottenham and is expected to miss Spurs vs. Manchester City on the 15th of August.

Jack Grealish 'edging closer' to the home of the Champions
Aston Villa are reported to be getting ready to offer Jack Grealish a new £200,000-a-week deal, which would make him their most paid player in the clubs history if agreed. Manchester City though are prepared to make Grealish their first £100 million signing if they can prise him away from Villa Park, according to The Sun.

Furthermore, for avid reddit users a 'reliable' Man City transfer fan has stated that Jack Grealish should be joining Manchester City 'within the week'. The fan is said to have close ties to the club and has been right many times. While he has had some miscomings he is viewed as 'reliable'. The fan was wrong about a Dani Alves' move to City (which was changed last minute) and is said to have been wrong about Kolorov staying in 17/18.
A photo shared by Twitter user @Mcfc_king shows a picture of him which was posted on the transfer fan's reddit of him close to close to City CEO and other club figures.

Though, as ever all transfer updates should be taken with a pinch of salt until the Man City social media post announcing the said player.

Gabriel Jesus to stay at Manchester City
Gabriel Jesus is expected to stay at Manchester City despite Juventus interest. The news comes after countless reports from the Italian media and British media such as The Mail Sport reporting that Juventus have made Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus their top transfer target this summer, regardless of whether Cristiano Ronaldo stays or leaves Turin.
Manchester City signed Jesus from Palmerias in 2017 as a 19 year old. He was already playing for the Brazilian men’s national team, the first choice striker, scoring regularly and had formed an excellent partnership with Neymar. Jesus was hot property, Manchester City signed him for just £27 million, today he’s worth a least double that fee.
