The Nmecha Brothers - Fleeing the Nest successfully?

Amongst the names from the City Academy that have graduated to the first team, there will always be some that find success away from the Etihad. This summer, brothers Felix and Lukas Nmecha left City to join the Bundesliga's surprise Champions League qualifiers, VFL Wolfsburg. Both of the young German's have made a somewhat impressive start in Germany; Here's how.

Let's start with Lukas. Last season, he was on loan at struggling RSC Anderlecht in the Belgian Pro League, and despite his teams troubles, he ended the season with 14 league goals and as RSC's top scorer, leading to lots of interest around him, and then a ~£7.3m deal to take him to VFL Wolfsburg. Alongside him in green this season will be his brother Felix, who impressed for City EDS last season despite spending some time on the sidelines, which earned him a move to VFL too, and on a free transfer, Felix may well end up being a bargain!

Since joining, the two have had a steady start, neither of them are exactly setting the world alight *yet* in the Bundesliga, but Lukas scored his first Champions League goal this week in their side's 3-1 loss to RB Salzburg, with Felix also making his debut!

That's not all though; Lukas has thrived in the Bundesliga too. Despite not being a regular starter, and hasn't always featured in his favoured number nine role, he has already scored two Bundesliga goals, and participated in 22% of Wolfsburg's goals!

With the Nmecha's still settling into Bundesliga life, could this be the start of an exciting journey?
