Spain 3 - 4 Italy on pens: Heartbreak for Ferran, Laporte and Rodri in Euro 2020 SHOCK

Mancini's men once again triumph, this time against Laporte's Spain.

In a shock twist of events, a very recessive first-half Italy knockout Spain at Wembley with 4-3 penalty win. Ferran was at the heart of Spain's attack in the first 61 minutes, running riot in Italy's wings and left them all but defeated in the first-half. Ferran was easily one of Spain's finest players and showed once again why he deserves to start but does not deserve the loss against Italy. Ferran was substituted off in the 64th minute raising questions especially when Spain needed a goal and take off one of their finest exports.

Laporte provided Spain with defensive brilliance for the most part helping in the set up for the Spain normal time goal. Laporte was defensively solid and helped struggling international team mate Eric Garcia. Laporte has played his 3rd and final game in a row of extra-time football for Spain, approximately for 360 minutes. You need lungs of steel to perform like that. Laporte was nothing short of fantastic for Spain tonight.

Rodri only played 50 minutes for Spain but was very much a part of the pre-penalty result. Rodri provided Spain with another trustful player to help guide Spain in a very counter attacking Italy.

Though, this is the end of the road for our Spaniard's I think all Cityzens can take consolation in knowing it was the Great Mancini that propelled to the final. Congratulations to Italy.
