After two back to back 1-0 defeats to Saturday's opponents and the opener to the Premier League season against Spurs, City have turned their fortunes around, putting 5 past Norwich and Arsenal respectively.

Pep Guardiola claims he is unsure whether Ederson or Gabriel Jesus will be able to play against Leicester.

The two Brazil internationals are presently unavailable after their national federation used Fifa's five-day regulation to prohibit City and other Premier League clubs from sending their players to South America.

"We are going to wait tomorrow," said Guardiola. "Right now I think they are going to play because I don't have other instructions. About all the clubs going together I am not a big fan, everyone thinks for themselves."

Guardiola was also asked about the goalkeeping situation due to Ederson's chance of missing and Zack Steffen missing due to Covid, Scott Carson will make a start. Guardiola said: "He's in our squad because he's able to play, fully confident."

The last time City travelled to the King Power was near the end of last season, where Guardiola's men ran out as 0-2 winners with Benjamin Mendy and Gabriel Jesus on the scoresheet.
