Pep Guardiola requests City meeting with Dortmund
With the end of international football it's a given Manchester City will have more attention in regards to signing any new players.
Erling Haaland is bright prospect and he certainly hasn't gone unnoticed. Pep Guardiola has reportedly requested Manchester City should start talks with Borussia Dortmund to sign Erling Haaland with Chairman Khaldoon Al Murbarak 'ready' for a proposed Haaland transfer with £130M, according to Ekrem Konur.
While the figure of £130M doesn't seem too wild a number it is well known that Chelsea are now the leaders in the race to sign Haaland. City the the advantage of sentimentals as Erling and his father are big Manchester City fans but Chelsea are persistent in their approach to try sign Erling this summer.
Erling Haaland can ‘imagine a move’ to either Chelsea, Man City or Real Madrid. Though, a change of club this summer is very much 'unlikely'. Jadon Sancho's move to Manchester United is said to have hit Erling hard as he would have loved to have played another year with Sancho but Haaland sees 'no reason to leave this summer’.
BVB Director of Football, Michael Zorc said: "Nothing has changed: We are still planning firmly with Erling for the new season!" when asked about Erling Haaland.

Erling continues to remain a valued member of the Borussia Dortmund team and is expected to stay for one more season until his £75M release clauses is activated next season.
