Man City keen on signing Dušan Vlahović?
Manchester City's hunt for a striker is said to be heating up with Dušan Vlahović signaled as a contender to fill the void left in City's attack by Sergio Agüero with several reports linking Manchester City and the Serbian.
According to Corriere dello Sport, City are stepping up their interest in Fiorentina sensation Dušan Vlahović.
In the report, it's said that Tottenham Hotspur's chances of landing the Serbian are fading away, whereas City are "gathering more and more information on the Serbian."
Fiorentina are said to be bracing themselves for a "shower of millions" for the player but seek to keep the striker until the summer at least.
Manchester City are expected to make a bid for the 21 year old Serbian's services in January in an attempt to fill the one real void in their squad.
The report also stated that it will be up to Fiorentina to find a way to delay the transfer until the summer and might attempt hold out for a larger fee with several of Europe's top clubs interested in signing Vlahović who has less than two years left on his contract. Furthermore it has also been reported previously that they could be keen on cashing in on the Serbian goal-machine in the upcoming transfer window but have set the price tag at €80m.
