Kevin De Bruyne Turns in World Class Performance for Belgium
Manchester City's star man has struggled to consistently find his best form so far this season. That was not the case on Tuesday night during Belgium's World Cup Qualifying match against Wales.
De Bruyne ran the show from the opening whistle. He also scored Belgium's lone goal on the night, a calm, classy, curled finish into the bottom right corner.
He also completed 84.4% of his passes, while creating four chances and completing four dribbles.
City will hope that De Bruyne can continue his improved form, as they face Everton in the Premier League on Sunday and a crucial Champions League match looms against PSG next midweek. A fully fit and firing De Bruyne could give City the edge in those fixtures.
Beyond this coming week comes the busy Holiday period of the schedule, City will play seven Premier League matches over the course of December. With the top of the League table being as tight as it is right now, the coming month could make or break City's chances at retaining their Premier League Title.
De Bruyne rounding into peak form could just be the catalyst that helps lead to a string of positive results for this City side.
