Ederson Expected to Receive A New Contract
Yes, it's good news! Our favourite Brazilian (alongside our other Brazilian players of course) is expected to receive a new contract.

Ederson has been Manchester City's 'crazy Brazilian' for some time and is now set to stay at the Etihad until 2028. Ederson extended his contract after his first season at the club in May of 2018 and helped lead Man City to win the Premier League (Pep's very first time), 2 Premier League titles after that, Eddie is set to be gifted once again with a well earned contract extension.
John Stones and Phil Foden are also on track to get their well deserved contract extensions after superb seasons (to say the least). Rúben Dias is said to be honoured with a pay rise after a great first year at the home of the Champions with Raheem Sterling ready to be offered a contract extension by the club too.
Riyad Mahrez and Gabriel Jesus will stay at the club (both of whom have two years left on their contracts) but Mahrez is to be offered a new contract after he earlier comments about wanting to end his career at the best club in the country. Pep has told Jesus that he will stay at the club for the coming season but if no striker is signed he will be more important after the departure of the great Sergio Agüero who signed on this day - not a bad signing...

Ederson has been crucial in Pep's aim to play Tiki-Taka football which has turned out brilliantly. While the Brazilian gives us heart palpitations with some of those cunning passes he is unchangeable and nor would we want him to be!
Ederson has a plethora of honours to his name...
Premier League: 2017–18, 2018–19, 2020–21
FA Cup: 2018–19
EFL Cup: 2017–18, 2018–19, 2019–20, 2020–21
FA Community Shield: 2018, 2019
UEFA Champions League runner-up: 2020–21
at Man City alone and is critical for the club and Pep. All our fans love him. A new contract is well deserved and 11 years at the club is a wonderful sight.
