De Bruyne and Foden Set to Return to Training
The talented duo are set to return to training following the international break. Phil Foden has been suffering from a foot injury suffered at EURO 2020, while Kevin De Bruyne has been dealing with an issue with ankle, also suffered at the international tournament.
According to Stuart Brennan of the Manchester Evening News, both players could feature on the bench for City's match against Leicester this weekend.
Pep Guardiola will surely be happy to have two of his most creative players fit and available for selection again. De Bruyne and Foden's return will present a bit of a selection headache for the City boss in future matches.
With Gabriel Jesus, Ilkay Gundogan, and new signing Jack Grealish all starting the season in good form, the competition for places in the Man City attack will be fierce. It's surely a good problem to have for Guardiola, but it will be interesting to see what his team selections look like, once all of his options are available to him again.
