Cole Palmer Plays Twice In One Day, Including a Hat-trick For The EDS!

City star-boy Cole Palmer had quite the eventful day this weekend, with his Saturday consisting of two football matches! At 4:50, Palmer came on for City's first team in our 2-0 victory over Burnley, with Palmer making a cameo in injury time, helping the Blues to a valuable three points!

That was just the beginning of Palmer's day, however! Palmer later STARTED for the EDS team, kicking off at 7:30pm against Leicester City, just over the bridge at the Academy Stadium. City ran out victors, and he scored a hat-trick! Palmer scored this superb goal on 85 minutes, with the youngster picking the ball up from around 25 yards out, turning and placing the ball into the far top corner to round off his hat-trick!


In quotes released by the club this morning, Palmer said "Playing with the Man City first team at 3PM, then driving over to the Academy and scoring a hat trick and get another three points; it was a good day!" and that “Everyone wants to play games so when I saw the opportunity to play I thought I might as well come and play and that’s what I did."
